Police Finish Week With Mixed Bag Of Calls
On Wednesday, July 18 at 10:53 a.m., police monitored traffic on Walnut Street. At 10:56 a.m., an officer monitored traffic on Main Street. At 3:14 p.m., police responded to a report of a domestic incident and arrested Anthony Andreattola, 34, 5 Stagecoach Lane, Lynnfield, for assault and battery, domestic. At 9:14 p.m., police assisted with a disabled auto on Walnut Street.
On Thursday, July 19 at 7:14 a.m., there was an accident near Chestnut Street. At 8:27 a.m., a minor accident was reported on the rotary. At 9:24 a.m., an accident was reported near Salem Street and the rotary. At 9:47 a.m., a caller reported a possible burglary on Salem Street. Nothing was found. At 11:54 a.m., some youths were reported to be riding motorbikes on the sidewalk on Main Street. At 1:18 p.m., an officer sent home a group of youths who were riding go-carts behind Center Court. At 1:34 p.m., an officer monitored traffic on Summer Street. At 5:33 p.m., an accident was reported on North Broadway. At 6:22 p.m., police issued a summons to a 22 year old Lynn man for unlicensed operation of a vehicle and for having no inspection sticker. At 6:28 p.m., an accident was reported on North Broadway. At 6:45 p.m., a caller reported that somebody had just appeared the house of their neighbor, who was not there at the time. It turned out to be a local restaurant employee dropping off flyers. At 7:29 p.m., a wire smoldering on a tree was reported near Smith Farm Trail. The Fire Department handled the matter. At 8:44 p.m., police issued a summons to a 46 year old Beverly man for operating with a suspended license. At 9:18 p.m., police spoke with a father and son after property owner reported them to be on his land near Summer Street. At 9:21 p.m., a Yorkshire Drive resident reported that some youths had toilet-papered his house.
